Why play pass, over ability to buy individual games?

Hi Nex Playground team, I wanted to give some honest feedback about the way the games and Play Pass are currently structured, because it’s honestly putting me off purchasing the device. The device is £269.99, which is already a significant amount of money for a family to spend. However, for that price you only get a handful of basic games, and then you’re expected to pay an additional £45 for 3 months of Play Pass, or £90 for 12 months - and even then, you’re limited to the games included within the subscription. What I don’t understand is why there isn’t an option to simply purchase individual games that we actually want. If there’s a particular game our family likes, I would much rather pay £10–£20 for that game and own it, rather than having to pay for a subscription just to access it. I also think the device should come with at least a 3-month Play Payss included. At £269.99, that would give families a genuine opportunity to try the device properly, see whether their children actually enjoy it, and establish whether it’s suitable for their family before having to spend another £45. At the moment, it feels like you’re asking customers to make a £270 commitment without really being able to experience the full product first. Then, if we want access to more than the five games included, we have to commit to another payment for a subscription, despite there being no option to just buy the games we want. I appreciate that subscriptions are increasingly common, but from a customer’s perspective, the current setup feels unnecessarily restrictive and, honestly, a little cloak-and-dagger. It makes it difficult to understand exactly what you’re getting for £269.99 and what the true ongoing cost of owning the device will be. I genuinely think offering a 3-month Play Pass with the device, alongside the option to purchase individual games, would make the product much more appealing and would give customers far more confidence when deciding whether to buy. I’d really appreciate it if you could explain why individual game purchases aren’t currently an option and whether this is something Nex Playground is considering in the future. Thanks.

Front Page FAQS repeat frequently

Hi! I was just looking at your site and noticed that the first 7 of your FAQs on your front page are repeats. They say: "Playground uses the magic of AI to follow your movements with its built-in wide-angle camera. Play with simple, natural gestures. No controllers or clunky wearables, just a few, but critical patents make it all work seamlessly." They're probably already written somewhere, but someone needs to update the live FAQ section. :)

Companion play option

I wanted to know if you guys would ever come out with a companion mode where it allows caregivers or older players to be able to assist those who were younger or disabled with moving their limbs to play the game? I currently have a 12 year-old with cerebral palsy who loves playing on the next playground, but we ran into issues at times when I am trying to assist her. She is nonverbal and non-mobile so in order for her to play she needs hands-on assistance. She can’t move her arms or legs at all without someone else helping her move them. This messes up the game a lot of the time with it jumping between myself and her instead of just seeing us as one player. Will there be any updates in the future to allow disabled individuals to be able to get assistance and be able to play the game more seamlessly?

inclusion of Spanish language support

Dear Nex Playground Support Team, I recently purchased the Nex Playground system. While my family and I appreciate the innovative approach to active gaming, I was disappointed to find that the operating system and all the games are exclusively available in English. As a Spanish-speaking user, this creates a significant barrier to fully enjoying the product, especially for the younger and older members of the family who do not speak English. I am writing to formally request the inclusion of Spanish language support (both for the OS interface and the games) in a future software update. Expanding your language options would not only make the platform more inclusive and accessible, but it would also open up your product to the massive Spanish-speaking market globally. Thank you for your time and for considering this important feature. I look forward to your response and hope to see this update soon. Sincerely, Jhon

In Store Demos Switching Games

I have thought a lot about this and two of the major selling points for the system should really be on the demo. Bowling and Mirrorama are major hits with every kid I've ever had over. In Mirrorama they love the ability to just be silly and it shows what the camera can really do. As for Bowling it captures the nostalgia of Wii Bowling that many people are trying to get back to. It's also the only game that can support 6 players.Just an idea but the featured games in the store demo should either rotate or be updated to feature these two awesome titles. I think it would generate a lot more interest/sales.

Can we purchase games individually?

Hi, dropping an idea. We do not want all the games, nor do I want my babies to play certain ones. What is up with subscription based? Every game system allows for individual purchases of games except this one. What’s wrong with selling things permanently… I bought this thinking the games we wanted could be purchased. Debating on whether to return it or just keep the originals

Screen Reader/Verbal Instructions

My kiddo loves playing with Nex but he can't read the instructions. If there was an option to have the written instructions on each game read aloud, he would be thrilled!

Feature Request: Installment Payment Option for Brazilian Customers

Hello, I am writing to suggest a payment feature that would greatly benefit your Brazilian customer base: the option to pay in monthly installments. Currently, the exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Brazilian Real is quite high. Because of this, a single purchase of the Play Pass translates to approximately R$ 455 for us. When charged upfront as a single lump sum, this amount becomes a significant financial barrier for many users who would otherwise love to subscribe to your service. In Brazil, paying for higher-ticket items in credit card installments (a system we call parcelamento) is the standard market practice. It allows consumers to fit these purchases into their monthly budgets without compromising their finances. If you could integrate a localized payment gateway that offers installment options for Brazil, it would make the subscription much more accessible. This change would not only help your current users but undoubtedly increase your sales and adoption rate in our country. Thank you for considering this feedback. We love the product and just want more accessible ways to enjoy it! Best regards,

More Free Games‼️‼️‼️

I bought this console because I was thinking they’re would be at least 10-30 games to play for free. Comes to find out there’s only 5! It’s $90 for a year, so now I have to wait for a paycheck to get the pass. As the console is already expensive as is. My suggestion is at least make 10-30 games free and the rest cost.

Ideas

Hello, I have some ideas for improving the playground design. I think it could include stickers, different designs, and more colors to make the playground more fun and creative. If I could get in touch with the design manager or head director, I would love to share some handwritten designs and ideas that I have created.😁

Is there some kind of online manual that says how to play each game?
