I’m back again with more complaints about Starri 2.0. Now, of course, I understand that games need updates so that people keep playing them, but this update will make people not want to play it! My whole entire family is devastated! Please change it.

Starri 2.0 - Solution
Please add an update to go back to the original Starri, in the interim, and then your team can make your tweaks and changes and create a new update for the future. With all of the upsets and comments all over the internet on this forum, Reddit’s, and social media, keeping customers happy is the main priority. Customer success relationship is key. Listening to your customers is the best way to grow. A focus group in many states and age ranges would be best before you roll out a new update for a game, as I’m sure you know. Hi, I’m a young user of the Nex Playground. My little brother and I spent our own money to buy the Nex Playground, primarily for Starri. Starri 2.0 is glitchier, harder to see, worse skin and background options, and just less fun in general! We strongly prefer the old version of Starri! Bring back original Starri option!
The original Starri was special, unique, and the reason my family bought Nex playground. The 2.0 version ruined the game. The gameplay is clunky and visually it looks cheap. My two kids are so disappointed, and none of us have played Starri since the update. We may end up cancelling our monthly subscription since this was their favorite game by far. Please bring back original Starri as an option!

We are missing 1.0! I know you guys worked so hard to make a more modern experience, but the classic was just so good! The biggest problem we have is the lag between when we move and the dots move. Any way to fix that? We have messed around with settings and it’s slightly better, but it has become really frustrating!

This game is the entire reason I pay for Nex. The other games are essentially perks and Starri is my sole interest. The game update as of roughly 8/26/26 has ruined the game. The songs that were removed are disappointing but understandable. Contracts end, prices change, whatever, music isn't free we get it. BUT the overhaul from great game UI to whatever this garbage can kindergarten interface is I'm like actually distraught. I've never been more disappointed or dissatisfied In my entire life. I'm actually heart broken. Something I genuinely loved just died and I'm grieving. If it can be revived, you'll have a life long customer. If not, we're done. You're choice.

Upgrade for adults
Need to add games like a dungeon crawler for older kids and adults. This game system has alot of potential. Don't waste it on all baby games. Make a section for 18+ all blood and gore. Try one game and if you dont hit a million downloads in a month kill it, but i guarantee you it will be a major hit. It could even replicate the original doom series on pc.

Starri update and Barbie dance game… can’t play either now
I had originally wanted to come on here to ask if the Barbie game could no longer have the screen jumping/moving around as you are trying to follow the dancer. It makes me nauseous and I just can’t play it with all that movement. And I would really like to be able to play it. And now the irony is that the Starri app (while not the exact same) now has a bunch of random movement on the top the bottom sides and then of course the whole crowds on the side and now yet again it makes me nauseous with all that movement going on and can’t play it. Can they be fixed please?

Calibration issues, insane lag, and an added storyline? Our entire family refuses to play the game insisting “it’s not the same”. We understand you spent the last year building this version from the ground up, so this is my request: add a Starri 1.0 as a mode you can switch too and get the best of both worlds! Horrible new version
Starri has been a super fun and meaningful part of our life this past year and we were SO sad to discover the new “upgrades.” Starri 2.0 is nothing like the original. We are so sad and hope that Nex playground will bring the option to toggle to Starri 1.0 mode!

I see what you were trying to do with the update, and over all it is nice. If the game would have started there it would have been fine, and I am sure people going forward will love it. Though, for those that have already been playing and loving this game, it is completely different from the original. The gameplay does not feel the same at all. Could you please add the option to also play the original for us OGs, even if it is hidden in the settings? Thank you! As for a bug fix, there is a weird lag that was not in the original. It is just not as fluid feeling on slash mode.

This used to be the only game they would play. What they are saying is that everything about it is terrible now. So bad they don't want to play it at all. It's so bad they'd rather play Bluey, which they wouldn't touch before because it was too childish. But they seem to enjoy now due to updated games. The new body detection algorithm requires standing too close and is harder to control. The new visuals are all ugly and I agree with them looks like throwbacks to 90s era pixel games rather than the flashy arcade games. The avatars are now uglier too, and they say they didn't even like the skins anyways. It's bad enough that I think you should just roll it back to 1.0 and discard this new version.
