🦛 Hungry Hungry Hippos: Move & Munch

Redesign playing field to circular shape
I was thinking how would a circular playing field look and feel like, so I came up with the attached below to visually demonstrate how a circular Hungry Hungry Hippos might work on Nex. Why circular? The current linear structure favors the two middle hippos, leaving the outer hippos at a disadvantage. Also, the game this is based off plays in a circular board game. I first came up with the traditional 4 player circle, but then thought about how this would fairly scale down to 3 and 2 players. This then shifted gears to making a 3 player circle which didn't fit the 4 player model. Having made a 3 player model, this got me thinking how this game could potentially be the first 6 player game where all 6 players are playing at the same time. No clue how the software would manage 6 players at one time, but at least with this configuration it would be able to support 6 players playing simultaneously. Then I went to rework the 4 player using the 6 player layout, which I feel would be just as equal as the first layout as each player has the same configuration (one neighbor, one empty space neighbor.) The arrows on each would indicate ball movement on the playing field. How the balls would gravitate away from the center, and away from empty spaces, and towards the circular path where the hippos would be able to chomp down and collect the balls. This layout could also introduce other obstacles to shake things up that the balls could interact with to add more randomness to their movement, like rocks, crocodiles, logs, etc.
