🎳 Bowling: Strike!

Sports theme balls: (basketball, football, softball, etc) Girly options: lip gloss pins, fingernail polish pins, glitter balls Emoji theme Lego/blocks theme (blocks if license needs to be avoided for Lego theme) Abstract art designs Candy theme (lollipops, gummy bears, gummy worms, Hershey kiss pins) Drink theme pins (soda, juice, coffee, milk, tea) Crayons and marker pins with notebook paper balls (or vice versa) Luau theme Car themed (tires or wheel balls, parking cones for pins, streets for bowling lanes)

In the bowling game it would be great and faster if you could choose your ball, pins, and lane with the remote instead of the cursor so you dont mess up

It would be great to be able to add/remove bumpers during a game instead of having to start over and re-do the entire set up when a child forgot to add bumpers or has them and wants to remove them. Also, having an avatar to choose from versus a photo of someone doesn’t want to take a picture.

It would be great to be able to indicate that an error happened when bowling (eg it picked up on a different player in the background and bowled without the intended player bowling) and to be able to “re-bowl.”

Give the option to skip the selfies in all the games. Just fill it in with a cute avatar or something.

I would love to see an update to bowling. It’s our favorite game (but also frustrates us the most). It would be amazing for some improvement in how you set up the game. Ideally it would be super helpful to have the option to use the remote for setup. With kids it’s extremely difficult to hover over and do hand over hand with the bumpers, pins, balls, lanes etc. If not an update like this I would at least love to have the bumpers option moved down instead of the upper left corner. It is so difficult to turn them on and hope to not touch anything else moving a kids hand to then hit the start button all the way right hand screen. If we miss the bumpers (to turn on, just the right wrong little movement shifts it) then we have to stop the game and completely start over the process. My kids only will play with bumpers. We then hope the second time of a restart it doesn’t happen again or it all could repeat how ever many times. All of us get frustrated. It might be helpful too to have an option once your setup is complete to be able to turn on/off bumpers in the middle of the game. That could at least help us avoid having to restart so many times. My kids are 3 and 7 for reference. 3 year old needs hand over hand for entire setup. 7 is special needs and does decent except bumpers she always needs help with. She can usually turn them on but then on way to start she usually accidentally turns them off again (by little movement of arm) and then affects other choices too. The bowling game should recognize the face of the person whose turn it is. This would avoid accidentally bowling and it would eliminate picking up people off the couch that aren't up to bowl.

Bowling question: Would it be possible to add a “back” option when setting up the game and players? My kids keep accidentally moving forward through the settings before they are ready and then we have to start set up all over. For example, my son accidentally picks the wrong ball and then we end up having to exit out and start over from the beginning.

This has been mentioned before but items have only been added to bowling, with no system changes. The setup for bowling is agonizing. There need to be bowling preference profiles or sets of pins, ball, and lane where you click ONE THING and can start, not go through an irritating multi-step setup. I also hate the selfie for bowling. Even my adorable kids (ok super biased) look terrible in their pictures, and I really hate seeing how tired I look every time i bowl. I've been taking them with stuffed animals lately. For the sake of kindness please offer a simple avatar option or one picture that we can just keep using. We also need to be able to toggle off certain holiday bowling options to not have to scroll through them every time. I don't want to erase them but I also don't want to bowl with Santa in May. Plus some items are just not my favorites...and there's tons now. Streamline the setup so we can enjoy the play! It's even worse when the game crashes in the middle and you lose progress plus have to set it up from the beginning again. -frustrated bowler

Most of the other games will let players continue racking up points even after all of the currently existing options for using those points are maxed out. It would be great if “Bowling: Strike!” did the same so that players would be that much closer to earning seasonal unlockable items when they’re released.
