Quiz show japan issue

Quiz show says that Coming of Age Day in Japan celebrates being 18. Although recently the legal age of adult status was lowered to 18, Coming of Age Day celebrates turning 20. It is at this age that young people dress up in kimono, visit shrines and take special commemorative photos. Also the pronunciation of ikebana is horrible, just as an aside. ;)
