I envision a slower paced game similar to the NexPet game for anyone who has an “old soul” or an “aging body”.

Gameplay: 🌼🌻Planting a garden, and 🦜🐣birdwatching.

Taking care of virtual gardens and getting achievements for consistent growth and interaction would be fun and could be paired with some actual botanical lessons to be a useful resource for learning for all ages.

Birdwatching could entail “sighting” birds of many species and traveling to different destinations to see other varieties that you could then log in a journal. Maybe it could even dip into a bit of mythical creatures too!

Physical Rewards: Moving and controlling your body in ways that mimic hobbies of years gone by, without the difficulties of managing or traveling to designated areas.

Imagine being able to move your body in a “digging” motion to prepare for planting, or holding arms up to “water” the plants. As every gardener knows there would be a need to “weed” often and keep your plots looking pristine!

Birdwatching could require a certain amount of steps and activity as if you were “hiking” outdoors. Then to spot the birds you would need to “hold binoculars or a camera” to get a good glimpse of those flying creatures.

The slow and holding movements of these games would allow muscles to be activated gently while engaging minds to adventure and explore in a simple manner.

My grandmother has been gone for 14 years and the 2 most memorable things growing up was that she loved her birds and flowers. As she aged she was bound to a wheelchair and unable to move freely in these things. She has been gone for 14 years, but I know she would’ve been eager to play this with us.
