Steady Play (for older adults and people with movement challenges)

A warm, welcoming movement game designed for people who want to stay active without pushing their bodies too hard. Players move from a chair or use a chair for support while they build strength, balance, and coordination. The activities feel calm, playful, and confidence-building. There doesn't seem to be a way to tweak other workout plans to achieve this at this time. Think chair yoga, Grow Young Fitness, Lazy Girl Fitness. This is movement that fits real bodies, supports rehab and aging well, and makes showing up feel good.

Ehren Malone I love the idea of gaming grandparents. Today's grandparents definitely aren't the grandparents of the 1900s. Spread the word.

I'm 😭 right now! I was 12 days into my nex workout streak when I fell on 12/28 twisted my ankle and tore my ATFL & CFL ligaments. Recovery has required a lot of sitting and I miss my nex!

    I would love this!

D'Ann Marble Ouch. My partner broke her ankle and tore some ligaments a couple of years ago and has a plate in it. That's a rough recovery. She also chafed at sitting so much.

I love this idea! I was in a similar class in our gym, but then we moved, and I haven't found this type of group yet.

Boa ideia. Pode conter programas de fisioterapia. Para crianças pode ser expressão corporal. Talvez ensinar a cair e rolar.
