Pokémon go alternative educational

Okay so no Pokémon go but...

What if you use the same kind of explore and discover idea? Maybe you collect cards with information when you get them? Maybe they are hiding and you spook them out? Maybe you "capture" them with a camara picture and then you get facts a little video about them?

You could make a prehistoric version or different biomes....it would be lightly physical- leas stimulating than other games but also educational.
