Pac-man "joystick" doesn't work well

I like that Pac-man has been added but the “joystick” doesn't work well… the screen zooms in to the person too close so that forearm movement isn't detected well. If it could keep the whole body in the screen or have the selected arm be the center of the screen it could work better. I tried backing up and it still zooms in too far… I've tried standing sideways and that seemed to work better but then I have to look over my shoulder to see the game. My ask is improvement on the detection of the “joystick”.
