Option to Hide Scores

Hello Nex Playground Team,

I’m writing to recommend a simple but important feature that would significantly improve the Nex Playground experience for many families: an option to hide scores during gameplay.

From firsthand experience, as a psychologist and when you have children with even suspected neurodiversity (including autism or ADHD traits), visible scores can quickly lead to frustration and meltdowns. Unfortunately, this completely removes the sense of family fun that Nex otherwise does so well.

I’d love to see a setting similar to bowling bumpers—an optional toggle that allows families to turn scores on or off depending on their needs. Games that immediately come to mind where this would make a big difference include Barbie Dance, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Peppa Pig, and any other competitive or score-based games.

This small change would have a big impact. With a score-hiding option, Nex remains inclusive, joyful, and usable for all kids—regardless of how they process competition. Without it, many families (ours included) are honestly forced to turn the system off rather than enjoy it together.

Adding this feature would absolutely keep us subscribing and confidently recommending Nex Playground to other families through word of mouth. Thank you for considering this request, and for building a product with so much potential for inclusive family fun.

Sincerely,

A Nex Playground Family (and friends)
