Leave it up to the parents...
Can you create a way for the parents to control what songs pop up? Like give A whole variety of music and leave it up to the parents to show what pops up. To the parents saying no religion.....just don't add the Christian music. The majority of us bought the system because we don't want the ways of the world, mainstream music, chat rooms and wierdos to influence our children. I'd like to see more Forrest frank, Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham, Lacre....contemporary Christian music. I and many other parents would love the opportunity to add those songs to my kids account. My kids don't know the music that's on there, and I for one don't want my kids singing barbie girl anymore... it's so inappropriate!

There is a way to control which songs show up on Starri, so any music can and should be included. Here's how to do it:
- Go to the settings (that's the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen)
- Select "Song List"
- You'll see the full list of songs with an eye to the right of them. click the eye to hide the song. When it's hidden, you'll see a line over the eye along the word "hidden".
No song that is hidden will appear as an available song on the game when it's opened.

NexPapa By this logic, you would be ok with songs with even more explicit lyrics or themes simply because there is the option to block that single song. Right? You would be fine with rap or heavy metal or whatever else is out there because you can simply block it after they get released. So let me ask you this, how would you feel if your child discovers the new songs that just got released before you had a chance to block it? NEX will be releasing new songs more frequently, and the only way we know what they are is after they get updated and on the system. Just because you can block songs doesn't give NEX the right to upload whatever they feel like. They want to make sure the songs have a wide audience so the majority can enjoy without having to worrying about blocking songs every month. The ability to block songs shouldn't give NEX the ok to upload questionable songs or songs for a small but vocal minority of users.

I agree there are several not appropriate songs in Starri. I have noticed some of them are edited to make them shorter in length, which had me wondering how come they didn't use the radio edit or make a radio edit version? While it would be nice to see more fun songs that are safe for children ears, this doesn't mean that this gives you a pass to add religious music to this platform. It is indoctrination that nobody wants. Would you like your kids to be introduced to Jewish or Muslim music for example, and then question the beliefs you have imposed upon them? You do not want to open up Pandora's box of allowing religion on NEX, as I am sure you all will be even louder than us who are saying no to religion. You want your religion represented, then all religions should be represented, even the ones you strongly disagree with. This is why the rest of us want to keep NEX free from religion. We can all still play and enjoy the fun games without the need to unintentionally isolate others because they don't share the same beliefs as you. No religion on NEX.
