Horse riding through historical scenes

We just visited a castle recently in Fukuyama with a horseriding simulation where you steered the horse in a race around the castle. It would be fun to do horse racing in historical surroundings. You would direct the horse with reins and travel around an immersive historical environment. I'd also like to make it an option to actually walk or run in place to trigger forward movement, not just in this game but any forward momentum game.
