Bring back old Starri

With Starri 2.0, the gameplay calibration is off, and the new design is overbearing. This is a classic example of over-engineering. The game was perfect, but now what used to be a nightly staple in my house might as well be a digital paperweight. Please bring back the old Starri. My kids and I used to love it, but the game is basically unplayable. At least offer the option to revert back to old settings. Right this wrong and give us our Starri back!

Hi Adam, this is Jerry from Starri team. We are so sorry about the issues you are pointing out. For some reason the old Starri 1.0 needs to be reimplemented because our codebase was too old.

To make Starri 2.0 experience better, we are trying hard to address the issues you may encounter. I just want to know more about the frustration you have. Could you elaborate more on:

    • “calibration is off”: is that about player’s standing position? time delay? bad grading? or something else?

    • “new design is overbearing“: is that the UI screens, the gameplay environment, or some specific game elements (e.g. the crowd, game objects, effects) that gave you the feeling?

We love to hear more in order to make the correct changes in the game. Thank you!

The two little lights at the bottom that represent you as the player do not seem to move as fast as you move, it seems delayed, it looked better when the characters stood there and mimic your movements. Everything else looks oddly pixelated, which makes it very hard to look at. Nothing is crisp and clear like it was before.
