Awful Starri update

Starri

Please, please, please for the love of everything holy bring back OG Starri or at least let us switch to classic mode. Starri is one of the main reasons I pay for a subscription, but it is terrible now. Nex- the people have spoken. Your update is trash. Fix it. Please?

    Thank you for coming to our feedback page to share your thoughts. Is there anything you specifically miss from the old one, or dislike about the new one?

      Specifically, I strongly dislike the change to the graphics, all of them. I play slash almost exclusively. The avatars are too big, the “stage” and “audience” are distracting and overpowering to the experience. Changing of the symbol graphics for the notes is also annoying. A green line in the ground is now a glowing, pulsating, rainbow ripple. The tunnels are the same- not good. The whole gameplay experience detracts from the music and the movements. I am no longer “the star of my own show”, I am the star of an 8 year old Anime lover’s fever dream. I don’t want to look like a dragon ball Z character gyrating in front of a crowd. I want to move to a beat and feel the songs.

      The menus being different, the ability to search for songs and have favorites is all fine and dandy. The change to the gameplay it self is unbearable.

      To people like me, (grown ups), who were pleasantly surprised by how much fun this game was for us and have been enjoying it since Christmas, mastering the songs, and waiting excitedly for each month’s new songs, this “update” is heartbreaking. I was just getting to the point of mastering a few songs in expert mode and getting all perfects on hard. The past two song updates were kinda lame IMO, but that was nothing compared to the failure dump of the last update.

      Please let us revert to the original! I can see someone who has never played the game being ok with the new version, but I think the writing is on the wall for all of us who already loved Starri- you new version is awful.
