Have you thought about an advertising campaign at city airports? As someone who used to work in airport management (SJC, EWR, etc) airports are always looking for free/low cost art initiatives and things to engage their waiting passengers and create a better “experience”….this might be of interest to airport operators as well as airlines trying to enhance their gate & customer experience…..I could see things along the lines of “Nex-gym on the go” for busy travelers (or commuters, airport workers or airline personnel that have been sitting around and on airplanes
for hours craving movement)….some have programs for special needs passengers as well.
It kind of comes “with the territory” in NY, SFO/SJC for being a Mecca of innovation. It could be an inspiring venture/experience as people come through even for a short layover….MANY different people from MANY different walks of life, cultures, life experience & ad leads journeying through….
Recently, airports have embarked on expanding spaces for rambunctious kids needing to get their energy out (I have a few kids like that 😆when we travel 🤣), calming and sensory experiences as well….letting kids “release their sillies/anxiousness”before or after a long flight of sitting is not only good for their well being & their parents but sure to be an experience they wouldn’t forget 😉
Also crew lounges and hotels; I’m just throwing it out there as a potential idea.
This idea would require a space but not a lot of investment on infrastructure
Most airports have free wifi to keep it updated & PR staff to ensure it continues working
This could also lead to interest in educational development/advertising for a city government by developing interesting games/trivia about the city you are visiting and/or at museums too. (Kid museums always have interactive exhibits for children in science/STEAM, why not history and social studies?? As a former airport worker, wife of an airline pilot, frequent traveller and homeschool mom on-the-go always looking for those “teachable moments” outside of a classroom….I see many needs that could be met down this avenue…
