Ability to hide calories burned

I'd like to suggest adding the ability to hide the stats of "calories burned". While it's impressive that the games track that stat and useful for people who want to track their fitness goals, I believe there are situations where it is unnecessary and even possibly harmful. In extreme cases, people with disordered eating might use this information in unhealthy ways. Even in families who promote body positivity and don't want to emphasize physical activity in the context of managing weight, this option could be helpful.

Agreed! I don’t want my 7, 5 and 4 year old children thinking about calories. But I also realize some people like to track this. An option for turning the calorie counter on/off is a great idea.

I posted this on the FB page today as well. Anyone suffering from ED or in recovery as well as ALL young children - this feature shouldn’t be toggled “off” but need to be toggled “on” to see! It would be such an easy fix to keep our brains healthy and focused on what really matters - the fun of playing together! :)

I agree this would be a useful feature! Seems like this small customization would have a big impact for some people. Appreciate you posting this!

Totally agree. I haven’t played Starri but had wanted to check it out, and actually will now consciously wait to do so until I know this has been fixed. I already have enough trouble with disordered eating patterns and don’t need something like this to give me another reason to focus on calories burned instead of simple, healthy fun.
